Disney’s Narnia Garden
To celebrate the release of the Chronicles of Narnia, the magic of Narnia was recreated in this garden at the BBC Gardener’s World Live show in 2008.
Part of this award-winning garden was the castle ruin, the sand dunes where the land met the sea, and the stream. I had to create natural-looking sand dunes with a beach of driftwood and shells which led up to the old ruin. I built the ruin from reclaimed sandstone but used a new arch which was distressed to look old. I also created the small stream and waterfall which flowed through the edge of the woodland.
