Chelsea stumpery cave

The stumpery cave, made from driftwood, was one of the main features in this Chelsea Flower Show garden.

The cave was 7 metres long by 3 metres wide at the base. Next to the stumpery was a stream, leading to the pond, which I made to look very natural with rocks and tree branches covered in moss. The bridge across the pond was one solid piece of oak with a poem by W B Yeats written by hand in gold paint. I also made some unusual bird and bat boxes for the garden.
