Waterside cabins

Two small cabins were built as retreats in separate locations on a country estate.

Built into the hillside next to a pond each cabin is made of local stone and old reclaimed oak timbers. The largest of these garden retreats was enhanced with oak tree features under the extended slate roof. A wood burning stove was fixed inside for that warm glow against bad weather. Extending decking over the pond makes this an ideal place to dwell at any time of the year. The second, smaller cabin is simpler and has a turf roof.
